[POEM] Wide Open

I’m pining for evergreens

wrapped in white,

smothered in the exposure of

a fluff, fresh snow.

Layers combat layers,

and all I want is chill,

though I hide behind down

and bundle under wool linings.

This is where I thrive;

open up to crystals

by closing up my coat.

Winter-Wonderland-Landscapes14A Winsome Winter to you all.
