I’ve never taken to Socrates nor Plato and their philosophies, except for this one line. There’s no telling if it truly a comment by Socrates himself or a quip by Plato, who merely credited Socrates with it in his book on the old philosopher’s trial and self-allowed death. Either way, I consider this libe to be the greatest piece of wisdom ever uttered by man. I rediscovered my love for this phrase today, and wanted to share. Cheers all!
