True Sight: A Pantoum

If eyes could see through rock as water

what would I truly see?

Monogram color, a sheet of filtered grey,

or a lens, clearing the ways of the world.

What would I truly see

through moss and stone

lens, clearing the ways of the world

beyond the sights of man?

Through moss and stone

problems are as layers, strata of the earth.

Beyond the sights of man

stars live and die in the hand of their god, the black.

Problems are as layers, strata

of so many asteroids and dust,

and the stars live and die in the hands of their God, The Black,

whose eyes see all that has and will ever be.

Of so many asteroids and dust

do we come, with censored vision.

Whose eyes see all that has and will ever be?

There are no lenses, no filter for us to see.
